An automation platform with an escrow deposit and contractor vetting
Qerify connects companies looking for automation with verified Partners: freelancers, agencies and ready teams. You describe the problem in a conversation with AI Concierge, get a matched contractor, and the money moves through an escrow deposit, so neither side starts on trust alone.
How we vet contractors
Before a profile reaches the directory, it goes through five steps.
Profile. The contractor creates an account and fills in the profile wizard: skills, tools, portfolio, hourly rates.
AI interview. The system asks about past projects and working style. After the conversation, the profile gets the status submitted for review.
Admin review. An administrator checks the submission manually, and for some profiles assigns an additional paid trial task with a scored result.
Decision. The profile gets the status approved, probation with a limited category list, or rejected. Only approved and probation profiles show up in the directory and in matching. After a rejection, resubmitting is possible after 14 days.
Identity before payout. Before the first payout leaves the platform, the contractor also has to connect a Stripe Connect account and pass identity verification on Stripe's side. Until then, the funds stay in escrow.
How the escrow deposit works
The client's money doesn't reach the contractor upfront or without a confirmed delivery.
Deposit. The client accepts the quote and deposits the first milestone into escrow before the contractor starts work.
Delivery. The contractor sees a confirmed budget on the platform account and delivers the milestone.
Acceptance. After the milestone is delivered, the client accepts it or opens a dispute. Funds stay in escrow until resolved; a case with no response within 72 hours escalates to an administrator automatically.
Payout. After acceptance, funds go to the contractor's account through Stripe Connect, minus the platform fee.
